Plan the service tier and core router around the property.

This page is for partners and technical buyers sizing an Aditum Connect® deployment. Tenant count sets the service tier. Expected aggregate usage, port requirements, and handoff type guide the core router choice.

Start with tenant count.

Use the service plan table to match the building to the right Aditum™ tier and number of retail bandwidth plans.

Size for real utilization.

The internet circuit may be larger than the traffic tenants usually consume. Router sizing should account for sustained aggregate bandwidth with room to grow.

Confirm the handoff.

Fiber, copper, and port-count requirements determine which Cloud Core Router fits the building cleanly.

Monthly service tiers.

Plans are primarily organized by the number of tenants supported at the property and the number of retail bandwidth plan options the deployment needs.

Service tiers describe how many tenant accounts the property can support and how many retail bandwidth plans can be offered. Circuit capacity and router sizing are separate decisions handled in the next section.

Plan Tenant range Bandwidth plans
Basic 1-10 1
Small 1-15 2
Medium 10-25 3
Large 25-50 4
Small Commercial 50-100 8
Large Commercial 100-250 15
Small Enterprise 250-500 20
Large Enterprise 500-1000 50

Cloud Core Router options.

Each building is controlled by an Aditum Cloud Core Router. Choose hardware based on tenant count, expected residential usage capacity, the fastest advertised tenant plan, port needs, and fiber requirements.

Example

For residential multi-family planning, a useful circuit-sizing baseline is: number of tenants multiplied by 5 Mbps, plus the fastest advertised tenant plan. The 5 Mbps per tenant accounts for real shared usage capacity. The added plan speed gives an individual tenant enough headroom to run a speed test and see the speed they were sold.
