The Aditum platform provides Total Bandwidth Efficiency – Incoming bandwidth is allocated through ‘rules’ that provide connection burst speeds and duration, and bandwidth floors and ceilings for the tenants. These rules are expressed through Bandwidth Policies (maximum 15, depending upon the subscription plan) and Service Prioritization Levels, which provide up to eight classes of service, to create a unique combination of offerings in a building or property. This feature allows for the successful intermingling of commercial and residential customers on the same incoming internet service pipe.
Commercial customers can be provided with priority access during the business day while simultaneously guaranteeing a minimum level of service to residential customers during the same time period. If a customer tries to utilize more bandwidth than is currently available, users at lower priority levels will be ‘throttled’ to free up bandwidth – up to the plan level for the customer making the request and never below the minimum guaranteed bandwidth levels of the other users’ plans.
Total bandwidth is managed much more efficiently while still providing the subscribed quality of service at the tenant level. The bandwidth policies and service prioritization levels allow for the creation of different billing plans for tenants, further maximizing the revenue opportunity for an owner or property manager.
Aditum is a hybrid-hosted Internet Management platform for any multi-tenant environment that allows a property manager to resell or subdivide internet service to tenants. Aditum adds a new revenue stream to a property; the internet access charges for every tenant.
