Norwalk, CT – Aditum announced today that it has upgraded the infrastructure running its Multi-Tenant Broadband Internet Management Service, and effective April 3, 2015 is now running within the Microsoft Azure cloud.
Company officials are pleased that with this upgrade, their system will be able to more rapidly scale to meet growth and offers geographic redundancy with service spread over 3 separate data centers across the country, Both East and West coasts, as well as Chicago, this should enable them to provide a “five 9’s” SLA.
Aditum previously operated exclusively from within the Level 3 data center at 111 8th Ave in New York. This change moves all core services to Azure, though a geo-redundant node for their tenant management service will remain at the Manhattan based facility.

CEO Brian Higgins first developed and deployed broadband management systems in 2005 as the Senior Engineer of a regional ISP which he was also a founding partner of. Not long after the company was acquired in 2009 Brian adapted the systems he used within the ISP to function on a building sized scale, and developed a simple web based management tool that allows the property owners and managers to control the service, that platform has worked so well that every one of those original customers are still using that original web based system to manage their tenants internet bandwidth and IP address allocation.
